Note on ASQ Certification: Yellow/Green/Black Belt names in this curriculum describe your progression through KCPEE's Lean Six Sigma pathway. An external ASQ credential requires meeting their current eligibility and examination conditions, which are separate from KCPEE enrolment. Speak with your programme lead if you're interested in pursuing ASQ certification.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need manufacturing experience?

No. Lean Six Sigma applies to any process: healthcare, finance, retail, logistics, HR, government. We use case studies across industries.

Can I do a Green Belt project without completing Yellow Belt?

We recommend starting with Yellow Belt fundamentals. If you have significant process improvement experience, we can discuss starting at Green Belt.

How much time does a real project take?

30–45 hours (guided class time). Your improvement project typically runs alongside the course: 4–12 weeks depending on your organization. The goal is real improvement, not simulation.

What if my company has its own Six Sigma training?

KCPEE's pathway is complementary. We focus on practical project delivery, mentoring, and organizational change. Many learners combine company training with KCPEE certification.

How are AI tools used in this pathway?

AI tools help with data analysis (spotting patterns), statistical modeling, simulation, and documenting improvement decisions. We teach responsible AI use in process contexts.

Can I use real company data?

Yes, with your organization's approval. This is preferred because your learning drives real business value. We can also provide realistic case data if needed.
